  Good morning! I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. DH and I had an amazing, much needed, weekend. We watched some great football games, had a wonderful date, got some things done around the apartment, started running again & still had time to relax a little :-) 

  
  

  I finished my first week at my new job Friday (that's why I wasn't around last week) & I'm not a fan :-/ This month I'm working a horrible schedule, 12-8:30 pm Mon-Wed. & 10-6:30 Tues-Thurs. This week I'll be in until 8 or later Tues & Thurs for training. DH gets up before 6:30 for work so we don't get to spend much time together when I'm working this schedule. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid :-/ 

  
  

  Anyway, this week is off to a bad start. I shut my foot in the door this morning & part of my toenail ripped. Instead of ripping completely off it's just kind of sticking up. DH told me to try to push the nail back down & put a bandaid over it. It REALLY hurts so I took some ibuprofen. I can't touch it without it hurting really bad. I'm such a baby when it comes to pain. Now I have to be at work in less than 3 hours & I have to figure out something to do with this toe so I can change & get some shoes on. 

  
  

  I hope this isn't an indication that this week is going to suck :-(

  Morning!  Its a rough one for me.  We got in from CO at about 9:30 last night, and I have an awful cold.  But the weekend was a blast -- my bachelorette party was Saturday in Denver, which was awesome.  My best friend and her mom hosted a coed wedding shower on Sunday (so I wouldn't be ditching FI too much while in another state), which was also nice.  It was good to relax and see friends I don't see too much anymore.  Also, we came back to a stack of RSVPs which was fun!

  Hi ladies,
  
  Back from my business trip to IOWA last week.  Boss lady is out this week so that's nice.  One of FI's cousins is in town today so I get to play host this evening. 
  
  Sarah - Seattle is amazing.  It seemed that coffee permeates the air out there.  The space needle has a restaurant at the top if you want to do something touristy.

  Good afternoon, all.
  
  We had a great weekend.  My bridal shower was fabulous, we got about half of our china and almost all of our stemware.  We also got some great Lodge and Pyrex items and tons of towels.  We're really overwhelmed by the generosity, and the amount of ty notes we've written. 
  
  Hopefully this short week will go well.  There's some work pressure this week for me, and I'm crossing my fingers it all works out.
