  Thanks ladies - @kmac, I know myself well enough to know that if I had my hair down I'd be messing with it all night so I figured up was the way to go. @Rlavach and inhisname - I have a veil that I plan to wear to the ceremony - FMIL made it for me, but b/c of the way my hair is it has to go pretty far up on my head above the actual curls. It's a long veil, so I plan to take it off for the reception.
