Need Help with Groom's Gift

So I'd like to get FI a nice gift for our wedding, but I'm totally clueless!!!!  I thought about jewelry, but he can't wear it to work, and that will pretty much transfer to everyday life.  He has a Celtic cross that he loves, so I thought about getting him a new one, but the one he has is fine.

Any Ideas??

Re: Need Help with Groom's Gift

  • What about boudoir pictures?  That's a really popular gift for grooms.
    Photobucket
  • Only you really know your groom, what would you get him for his birthday or christmas? Start thinking in those terms and I'm sure you'll be able to decide on what to get him.
  • I'm getting my FI a game he used to love as a kid - he was talking about it a few weeks ago, and he said he wished he still had it because he would love to pass it on to our kids someday.

    Good luck! :)

Just make sure you talk to him about them. Mine didn't like the idea.

Think of it more like a "normal" gift for birthday & Xmas. What would he like?

Ooh good point, I know my FI wouldn't be too keen on the idea of anyone looking at me dressed (or un-dressed) like that to take pictures.
  • maybe you can find something else with a celtic cross on it since he seems to like that, not necessarily a necklace.

you could buy him a nice watch with an engraving on the back if you think he would actually wear it. A place to check for a lot of personalized stuff would be Things Remembered.
