I use myfitnesspal.com and I love it. It has an app for my phone which was a must as I wanted to be able to track things when I'm not at home. It has a huge food database, and you are also able to add your own food and meals very easily. It's the most user-friendly program I've used so far.
I use Livestrong.com because they bought thedailyplate.com. I've been on it for about 3 years now. It's kind of glitchy, but I have a lot of loyalty to it, and the app on my iPhone is a huge help.
I looove myfitnesspal.com....like pp says, the food database is unbelievable...I've yet to not find a food I need to add. You are able to add your exercises, as well, or even things like mowing the yard to see how many calories you've burned. I've tried "lose-it.com" and didn't like it as much, mainly because the foods weren't always in the database.
I am another myfitnesspal.com user and could not be happier with the results! I'm not trying to lose a lot of weight, just slimming down and want to live a healthier lifestyle and it has been very helpful

Try a few and go from there. All of them as as accurate for food as the people that have inputted the data, so always check against your labels (unless it's something fresh, then I usually pick one that looks to be an average of those listed). For estimating calories burned during exercise they're all about the same level of inaccurate. Your best bet is to get a heart rate monitor.

I used to use Livestrong, but got frustrated with the user-generated nutrition facts. They were often off by just a few grams of something. Then Livestrong did a sweep and during that time, you couldn't add new foods.
I got on CalorieCount.com and like that it has a free app for my phone as well. Both the online program and the app are user friendly, but a lot of the foods aren't measured in cup or teaspoon, but grams or ounces. I can't carry a scale to work to weigh my food! I've figured out the conversion for the foods I eat the most and have since really liked CC. I came here to advocate it but I think I'm going to check out myfitnesspal as well.
