Work Vent

Sorry I know this isn't wedding related but I just need to vent for a second, I am just having one of those days! I answer the phones here at the office and I am an Accounting Assistant here in Downtown and we have this caller who calls now on a weekly basis asking for people who are not here! On a good day 4 people work in this office! The first couple times I was nice and I told him, "So and so does not work here in the office" or "I'm sorry sir there is no one here by that name." Then he hangs up on me or yells at me and tells me i'm lying, what would I gain by lying? Finally after months of this my boss has gotten involved, and she told him that if he continued this she would report him. That was a few weeks ago and we thought maybe he had stopped because we hadn't heard from him. Well he called again today and I couldn't transfer him to my boss because she's not in the office today. It is just so annoying! I just wish he would stop calling me!

It's just one of those days!

Anyways on the wedding front things are great! Going for my cake tasting on the 14th! Soooooo excited!!! This is the next big thing after getting the dress and the venue!

    Time to file a complaint with the FCC for harassing phone calls / telemarketing.

    We used to have an AT&T telemarketer call our company, make it through to my extension, and ask for the owner of the company (of course...not by name.)  Well we're a corporation.  The "owner" is not on site.  I called him out on his games, he started swearing at me. I hung up.

    HE CALLED BACK!  When I answered, he asked, "ma'am, do you want to get fired? I'm gonna get you FIRED today!" Whatever, dude.  I called him out again, "Sir, you are NOT one of our clients, I can hear people in the background answering the phones as 'thank you for calling AT&T.'"  Again, swearing at me.

    I hang up.  HE CALLED BACK.  When I asked for his supervisor, he hung up on me .  I immediately redialed, obtained information, and filed a complaint with the FCC.

    That would be great! Do I need to have his phone number though cause the jerk is hiding his number! It comes on the screen as 000-000-1234. I will check that site out and see what can be done! This is just driving me crazy!

    Say that your company had an ownership change, you're the new owner, and with whom do you have the pleasure of speaking......then grab all of his information, and turn it into the FCC.

    He changes it! He always "hides" his number so it says different things all of the time!
