Help me shop for a 2 yr old....please!

I have a birthday party for a 2 year old boy this weekend and I have no idea what to get.  Any suggestions?  My budget is about $25.

    If he likes being read to some sort of book with longerish stories Mom and Dad can read at bedtime. I have been giving Disney/fairy tale books (with stickers he loves stickers) to my cousin for a few years. At two he loved pointing to all the Disney charters and telling people who they were and what he could remeber from their movie.

    I highly recommend Mo Willems. FI has young great nephews, and they love his books. He does both the pictures and the words-Knuffle Bunny is a particular favorite.

    I second Mo Willems.  Also, check with the parents to make sure you aren't buying a duplicate book, or make sure to include a gift recipt.  One of my friends asks for gift cards to B&N for her child, or specific books because they have so many of the commonly purchased ones.

    You could do a Thomas the Tank Engine book and get him the matching train.  B&N has a huge selection of both.

    When my niece turned two (or maybe it was three) I got her this CLICK and this CLICKY. I for little ones that young I like to do something somewhat educational with something more hands on and fun but related.

    My nephew is turning 2 in a couple weeks.  He is obsessed with the magnetic letters and numbers (just the old school plastic ones) at his daycare.  I plan to buy him two sets of those - one for my sister's fridge and one for my mom's fridge (he does 3 days a week at my mom's house and 2 days at daycare).  And maybe some other fun magnets. 

    I have also been buying him clothes I see on sale.  Super boring, I know, but my sister will appreciate them.  I did splurge on an Elmo tshirt because he is obsessed with Elmo!
