Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh

Good Morning!

GM! The weekends go WAY to fast!
We tailgated and went to the Pitt game on Saturday and went to a neighbors halloween party saturday night. We live in a townhouse neighborhood, so after seeing what our house COULD look like when decorated, DF and I realized we are seriously lacking decor ..except for in his mancave/steeler themed basement. Sunday we watched the Steelers win (whew!) and then did a Costco run...

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Have a good Monday!

    Good Morning!
My mom came in for the weekend and we went to NYC on Saturday - we had a great time! We got a few things accomplished and just had a wonderful day. I was able to get the crewcuts shoes I wanted for my FGs gifts and I also bought my Jr BMs dresses!! Well, I ordered them and they're being shipped. They are really cute and I think I'm going to give the dresses to them as my 'gift.' Anyway, we had beautiful weather and an all around great day. Yesterday we went to breakfest then my mom headed out and I had some school work to do and FI watched football all day.

On a side note, I'm working really hard to find FI a job in Pgh! The more I think about moving home, the more excited I get and now if it doesnt happen I'll be super disappointed... Any spare vibes would be greatly appreciated!!

db - I hear you with decorations! Ugh... It just takes so long to get things the way you want them... my apt is WAY to bare right now too!

GM! I'm loving life as a married lady, haha (perhaps its just the fact that I actually LIVE with H now!)

I had Friday off, so my sister and I ran some errands.  DH and I went to my brother's last home football game.  They presented all of the seniors before the game, it made me tear up a bit thinking my baby brother is graduating! Gah, I'm getting old Tongue out

Yesterday we ran around Robinson and ate ourselves stuffed at Bravo. But thanks to the Holiday Inn Express we had almost a free meal. (We were thankful, even though they royally messed up on our wedding night!)

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend!

    Good Morning Ladies,

I'm glad to see the knot is working again after all the issues on Friday. I had the same issues and reported it on the mod board, but I headed out to Pittsburgh in the early afternoon so I never got to see if was fixed.

I had a fantastic weekend! I went to Pittsburgh, and on Friday, my nephews and I had a sleep over! Then on Saturday, I went to my nephews ice skating lessons, then we went to the pumpking patch. Yesterday we just hung out and played. It was great.

GMC- I'm heading to NYC this weekend! Sounds like you and your Mom had a blast.
DB- Sounds like you had a great Saturday.
Duq- Glad married life is going well!

Morning.. I'm exhausted today. Friday my grandfather broke his arm right below the shoulder and was operated on Saturday. So I was basically in the hospital all weekend. He's just in a lot of pain and I feel so bad for him. I've never broken anything, but apparently arm and shoulder injuries are just really painful He will hopefully be released tomorrow or Wednesday. I made him potato soup for dinner yesterday and have stuffed green peppers in the crock pot for him tonight. Any extra vibes that he can go through therapy as painless as possible would be appreciated!

DB- Don't you love the man decor. If it was up to my DH our whole place would be fatheads and deer heads. haha
Gianna- Lots of vibes that DF gets a job here!
Meg- I don't think I heard the story about how they messed up!
Jamie- Super cute! Sounds like a lot of fun with family!

Trisha- They had offered us a suite for Friday and Saturday. We had booked it in January.  On Tuesday before the wedding they casually (as in on a second phone call to them from me they mentioned to me) the suite was no longer available. No explanation given.  The manager never gave us a phone call back, after 4 voicemails left. Awful service.

Gianna- He was walking down the stairs in the basement and turned around to say something to my niece who was there (it was her 6th birthday and they were taking her to lunch) and he lost his balance and basically fell off the steps into a coffee table. He is so prone to accidents. He is really active, which is good, but he's always cutting himself, or smashing his hand and all kinds of other crazy accidents. He just needs to slow it down a little.

Meg- that is SO terrible! That is way too close to the wedding to pull that!

Good morning gals!  After such a fun time on Sat with the e-pics, then a haunted hay ride and corn field on Sat night, I woke up sick to my stomach last night:(  Unfortunately it started going around our office last week so I should've known it was coming.  On a positive note, now I can spend all the time on here that I want today since I never can at work:)

ROS - I'm very sorry to hear about your grandfather's accident.  I'll def add him to my list of prayers.  My DF's grandmother also fell on Fri and broke her hip.  Hip replacement surgery on Sat created a lot of breathing/heart complications from the anesthesia so we're praying she pulls through.  Please also send thoughts her way!

Good Afternoon! The weekend flew by as usual. I got some new winter clothes on Sat., so I'm excited to wear them eventually. It's going to be in the 70s here almost all week so I guess I'll be waiting a little while. DH was trying to be patient, but shopping puts him to sleep. I really wish my parents lived closer so my mom and I could go shopping. DH and I need to start on my Medusa headpiece for Halloween... nothing like waiting until the last minute! I really hope it turns out well...

D- I hear ya on the decorating. We have some pics and artwork up, but I want to hang more. We don't even have a wedding pic up! I bought some nice frames at Michael's this weekend though, so hopefully they'll be up soon.

G- Continued job vibes your way!

Meg- I'm glad to hear that married life is treating you well!

Jamie- Glad you had a fun time in Pgh!

Trisha & Carly- Sending both of your grandparents vibes and prayers for a quick recovery.

We're dressing up on Sat. instead of Sunday, since that's when the event is we're going to. I wish I could dress up again on the actual day, but we have no where to go on Sunday!
