Had my second fitting for my dress yesterday. Just need to go back next week to make sure the bustle is correct! So happy I have a dress that fits!!

We found our officiant last night!! (3rd one is the charm, right?) Soooo hopefully this one sticks... haha

and this sounds HORRIBLE but last night I received a text from FI's "friend" that he won't be able to make it to the wedding anymore. It's a relief because he hasn't been the greatest "friend" lately and FI (and myself) are done with him, so I'm glad I don't have to pay for him to be there anymore.

I am so excited! We get to take engagement photos on Sunday in Lansing (specifically at MSU campus). Keeping my fingers crossed that the rain will hold off for part of the day!!!! One website says 50% chance of rain and another says no rain. I don't know what to plan for!

I'm gonna be a major AW, but I took care of a lot this week!

STDs went out yesterday:

My mom found her dress and we ordered it yesterday:

My dress and veil came in last week so I went to try it on Saturday:

I found some shoes on Saturday too but didn't get a picture yet. Deposit is down on the cake too.

Last but not least, in 13 days I'll be moving out to CA to FINALLY be with my man again!

The next year and a half is going to go by so fast you won't even know what happened! My engagement was 19 months long. I'm getting married next month and it seems like it was just yesterday that we got engaged!

AW: I had my 2nd fitting last night. I had a corset back put in my dress, so they are just not altering my bust area. I cannot wait until the end of the month when I go back.

DH is home from his 2-week business trip! We're joking that we finally get to find out now what this "being married" thing is like.

Oh, and 10 minutes after we walked in the door from the airport, we're seconds away from getting...er...reacquainted with each other....

And there's a knock on the door. UGH! If it's the landlord and if it's some sort of plumbing/electrical emergency, he'll let himself in if we don't answer it. So we HAVE to answer it. Turns out it's Jehova's Witnesses.

My AW: I bought a new car and picked it up last night!! a 2012 Kia Sportage... I am in love :) I bought a new grand am my freshman year of college and have been driving that for the last 6 1/2 years... I was so ready for something new!

I got my flowers from Etsy! I placed the order back in July so I am really happy they are finally here! I only ordered a few to see what they were like. I LOVE them and I'm definitly going to order a bunch more!
