Hello,

My fiance and I will be getting married May 21st and will not be able to escape to a full week honeymoon until a few months later.

I am interested in taking a mini-moon the day after the wedding for a few days. We are from the Fairfax, VA area.

Looking for somewhere to go that is no more than a 3-4 hour drive...

Any Suggestions?!

    What do you like?  My DF and I love Deep Creek, Maryland and it is about 2 1/2 hours.  Lodges at Sunset Village is very romantic and you can get flowers sent to your cabin, a $10 to spend on wine at the local store, and $25 dollars to spend at a local restuarant.  I loved it!  There is something to do at anytime of the year.  Skiing, snowmobile, snow tubing in the winter.  Great hikes to amazing falls in the summer.

    The Greenbriar Resort is more upscale, but they have some great deals for $80 a night.  My DF really wants to take a tour of the bunkers.

    I have other ideas, but look at Deep Creek.
