South Florida Unique Wedding Venues on a budget

I just started this process and I have heard from a lot of people that the best way to keep costs down is to find a venue that you can just rent out and bring your own catering, alchol, ect, such as country clubs, parks or museums.  But I am having a really hard time finding any of these types of locations in the South Florida area.  My fiance's dad for instance got married at the Spanish Monastary and it is beautiful, but we are not going to get married at the same place as his dad.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Try posting this on your local board.  You might have more luck there!

Some options are Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the Rusty Pelican. Also, check out Melissa at Events on a Budget- her Wedding in a Box package!

There is a library in Boca that is affordable and allows you to bring all your own vendors.  I think it's called Spanish River Library.  It's a nice outdoor venue and overlooks the water.

Try the Douglas Entrance! the venue itself is a little pricey but you can bring everything and they include tables and chairs...

    hey!
I juuuust checked the Miami Botanical Garden for prices
the banyan room which is the closed room with glass dors and a terraces goes like this
    850 for four hours
    175 for each additional hour
    400 security deposit
100 deposit that i think they take it out of the 400 if everything runs allright
50 membership to the garden if you are not already one
    7% tax
    125 for  a janitor
    and 25/hr for an attendant
so basically if you want a 5 hour ceremony just for the venue it would be 1712....
:( bye bye botanical garden for me.

Check out Riviera Isles in Miramar, you have to find someone that lives there but they have a huge waterfall pool and a nice club house
as in for me....I am still looking just like you are

Im still looking for a reception site myself...its pretty hard to find on a budget..lol.. and honestly sometimes it is not more convinient. You could actually waste more money trying to find food and liquor and everything seperate. Its sometimes better to find someone who can do it all!

Hey all. I am in the same boat. I considered a destination wedding and now realizing alot of my family will not be able to afford it. I am stressing out already and my wedding is next October. Has anyone come up with anything else?? We are on a budget and not trying to spend anything more than 10k for everything.
