Congrats!! It's a beautiful venue and you won't be disappointed (especially at the tasting- it was awesome).

    Here are my vendors:

Videographer- PF Films by Peter Ferriero.. He's got a channel on vimeo where you can check out his highlight fllms

Florist- Petals Premier- Adam is amazing!! He's so creative and has been the vendor I've probably worked the closest with thus far..

Photographer- Infinity Photographers in Little Falls. Dimtruius and his wife are soo sweet!! I loved our engagement session and they did our save the dates which came out beautiful.

DJ- Dj Express/Joe Zisa- He did a friend's wedding last year and he had us dancing all night. Also, based on other DJ quotes he gave us the most bang for our buck.

Feel free to message me if you have any more questions.

  • Congrats! You must be so excited!!!! We will be getting married there on July 6, 2013.
I have most of my vendors booked- I used a lot of recommendations from Park Savoy or through friends who have also gotten married there

Photography- Jessica Lauren Photography. She already did our E-pics and is awesome

Videographer- Kaan Tulgar. He came out to the house and met with us... awesome work and he does a lot of work with the photographer, so I know they won't be bumping into each other!

Band- Silk, though Time Machine Entertainment. We went to see them perform and they had us up and dancing at their practice! We were torn between them and Elegent Ensembles, but Silk was much more fun and less expensive.

Florist- The Floral Gallery. Based in Chester, NJ, Cindy was super knowledgeable and nailed my 'look' for the wedding. We checked out some other places and they were terrible. Cindy knew which flowers would hold up in the July heat and she came in $1000 under what other florists quoted us at.

Cake- We will be going with Palermos. We have not gone for the tasting yet, but they did my cousin's cake at Naninas and it was outstanding!

Hotel- We reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt in Morristown. We have lots of guests coming in from out of town, so we thought that it was in a great location and they provided the best rate by far, including transportation to/from the Park Savoy

I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions

  • Thank you both so much! Now that the venue is done, I am kind of lost as to where to start the other stuff so this is a HUGE help!

Quick question, are you doing the after-party option in the man cave?  We were able to peak in last week, and although it's not finished yet, it looks like it will be great! We are definitely considering doing so.. just wanted to get your thoughts.
  • I think we will be bringing the 'after party' back to Morristown, the Hyatt has a pretty good bar area or maybe we will head out somewhere on the green. We weren't told about an after-party option at the Park Savoy... but I haven't talked to anyone recently and the place wasn't finished from the renovations when we booked. Can you tell me some details? Maybe its an option too!
  • They are making an after party area to look like a man cave... it will be downstairs (their currently building the staircase from the cocktail room).... it looks really cool! So far I saw the bar they are putting in, the wine room. and there's a side room with all stone (really looks like a cave) for cigar smoking, etc..... The after party includes an open bar and all types of bar food, sliders, etc...  My family loves to party so I'm definitely thinking of adding that as an option!  It should be done by now, if not, any day.

  • Yes!! They let us go thru the kitchen to peak inside since the stairs from the cocktail room weren't yet finished.
  • Oh how exciting! I am going next week to look at linen options from my florist so I will have to check it out

  • how much additional is the "after party"?
