    haha I love it.
He gets soooo much crap for it, but I will admit that it is a TON of fun to drive! It handles incredibly and surprisingly well.

I drive a 2005 VW Golf, and FI drives a 2001 Toyota Corolla.  His is really beaten up, and he bought new so he couldn't afford all the options like electronic doors and windows.  Yep, roll down windows and manual locks - flashback 1995 anyone?  Since when were those NOT standard?!  But it has 120k miles on it and still chugging along just fine.

FI's does not dream of cars.  He's far too practical.  I think he just wants to keep buying newer versions of Corollas.  My next car will be a 'mommy wagon' as I plan to drive my current car for at least 2-3 more years, and at that point we'll be thinking of having kids.  I want a small SUV, since I had a little kid visiting me for 3 weeks and getting his stroller in and out of my hatchback was a real pain.  I'm thinking maybe a RAV-4 or a CRV, but we'll see what our budget is and what the ratings are on various cars.

H has a 2010 Elantra. I have a 2010 Cobalt that I got when my Saturn died. H would want anything that's not a standard. It bothers him that he can't take my car when he has to go to SD (it's better on gas). I want a small SUV someday assuming I'll be a mom and I refuse to drive a mini van.

I drive a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. I came from a 2 dr Alero...which I loved until I got a dog. My dream car is a Ford Edge.... they look pretty similar but the Ford has more add ons, features.

FI drives a Ford Fusion and it's his dream car... he was able to design it ... he points out every other fusion when we drive- if that shows you how much he loves that thing.

I don't know anything about Edge or Fusion, but Focus is literally my least favorite car ever.  I had to drive one for my driving classes when I was getting my license about 10 years ago (wow, really that long?  Darn) and the seats hurt my back so badly!  And it seems every time I get a rental car, it ends up being a Focus and it hurts my back again.  I hate those seats so much!  I liked the car otherwise - good visibility and handles well, and all the controls are really intuitive and driver-friendly - but they need to replace those seats!

I just traded in my Civic for a 2005 Nissan Murano and I. am. in. love. Seriously, it's a wonderful small SUV.

H is a car freak. Currently he has a Celicia and a Nissan 250Z. However, now that we are trying for babies, he is going to sell both and get some type of truck. Thank god. I hate his 350. It's a sports car and super fast/jerky.

Jeeps were always my dream car.  I would also be happy with a BMW X3 or a Volvo XC90.  H says he will always drive BMW now.  He also would love to get a fun car like the new Camaro or Charger though too.

I'm glad that we all pretty much agree to NOT drive mini-vans when we're all mommies!!  I despise mini-vans, plus I'm pretty sure I'll always feel too cool to drive a van.Tongue out

We plan to have 2 kids, so a small SUV is perfect. If we do happen to have 3 or more, I'll probably re-think the mini-van.  I'd hate every minute, but it's so practical with so many kids, their friends, sports equipment, a dog, big grocery trips, etc.

I don't think anyone would ever say that a minivan is their "dream car," it just something that becomes practical.  I plan on being an SUV mom, but I've driven family members minivans before, and good lord are those things freaking convenient.  I can definitely see why people drive them.

Especially the ones all rigged out for Moms, complete with back-of-the-seat TVs with DVD players for kids to be entertained!  Gosh, I can imagine having to drive kids long distances would become infinitely easier.

I definitely never wanna drive a minivan lol. We only want 2 kids as well so we're getting an SUV. Plus FI said when we move to the city he won't let me drive anything smaller than an SUV because of all the accidents he saw there. My mom drove a van for a while because it was practical for us five kids but she now drives an SUV that can still fit all of us as well as pull the boat. She loved her Honda Odyssey though

I drive a 2005 Toyota 4Runner and I LOVE it!  I bought it when I was stationed out in Portland, OR years ago and it's been all over the country with me.  My husband wants to trade it in for a newer model, but it's paid for, perfect for carting around my 8yr old black lab, and will be perfect for the baby we have coming in Jan. :)

My husband drives a 2010 BMW 535i- I finally was able to get him to sell his Mini Cooper since he didn't need 2 cars.  Now if I can just get him to stop getting speeding tickets in the BMW.  Fortunately for him, he loves to "play lawyer" and go to court to fight the tickets.  He actually has a pretty stellar record.  :/ SMH

We have a 2005 Toyota corolla that I drive back and forth to work, and then we have a 2010 Chrysler 300 for long or comfortable trips. Since he had his major back surgery this was a must have( a comfort car easy on bumps) for pleasure and fun, we have a 1966 Impala! That is my pride and joy!

ETA: My favorite car I have ever owned was a Dodge Omni, LOVED that car! Laugh all you want :)  I had the square shaped one and the sportier one. The second favorite was my 350-4 Chevelle SS coupe(OH how I wish I still had that car!), the third is a toss up between a Datsun 510 station wagon and a Vega. After a while the Datsun got old because it was Army Green and for a while we were on an Army base and his AF BDU's were the same color green so that color got old REAL fast! The worst car is a toss up between a  1986 Nissan Pulsar 2 door and a 1974 Beetle Super Bug.
