AW: He did IT PIP
So, I'm up in DC to visit BF, and yesterday we went to the aquarium. And piddled around, but the man has been acting weird all week. And was attached to his phone all day, which is not normal for him because I was geeking out, and he wasn't making as much fun of me for knowing all those little things from classes.
So, we get through, and he keeps trying to keep us in the aquarium. And we piddle through the gift shop (we bought coozies that say "I used to be a Wetsuit!") and hung out in front of the windows, and finally he says "let's go for a walk". So, we walk out, and I ask to get my coat out of the car, and he tells me no. We walk over to a bench, and he starts talking and before I know it, he's on one knee in front of me. (My reaction, in my head was: OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG). And then he says "look to your left" and our friends are all coming out from behind a corner.
So, ENGAGED. Kind of weird, definitely new, definitely don't feel any different. And apparently he's not slept since he ordered this thing a month ago, so he's still in bed. He had the ring custom designed to mesh two of our favorite rings.
I apologize for the crappy cell-phone picture, but until friends upload them, that's all I have right now.

My BF totally makes fun of me for geeking out about that kind of stuff too!!!! Though I mainly geek out about the inverts because I have no clue what any fish or sea mammals are. *high five* for geeks (and for you being engaged)!!!!!
