Mint green dress and dark brown shoes

Hey Ladies,

I was wondering if you have any pictures with a mint green BM dress and brown shoes that you can post. I'm trying to get a picture of how this would look like together. Unfortunately the bridal store I went to did not have the sample size in mint green so its hard to envision how it looks. 

Do you think the two colours go together? I need to have my BMs wear a bolero or something to cover their shoulders, I'm debating whether to match it with the colour of the shoes or the dress. What do you think?

    i think brown shoes might be too dark to wear with a mint green dress.  why not go with silver shoes?
    then they can wear any neutral color for a cover up.  beige, ivory, grey, etc....

    i could not find examples but I love this combo it reminds me of mint chocalate chip, or grasshoper cookies... (yum)

    Reese - my colour is mint green and brown so I was trying to incorporate brown with green. I'm not sure about the silver shoes though. What about a light brown shoes almost butterscotch colour?

    dizzi -yeah the second one is more of the colour that i will be choosing for the dress.

    I don't think brown shoes would look right, unless the dress had a brown sash. However, I think that a brown shawl might work.

    I'd just let them wear either silver or gold shoes of their choice.

    just because your colors are mint green & brown, that doesnt mean your BM have to be wearing both colors. your original post asks about dark brown shoes, which i honestly dont think will compliment mint green dresses. you should do a metallic shoe or maybe a nude.

    what are your GM wearing? can they wear brown vests and/or brown ties? you can incorporate your color scheme in so many other ways. but your BM dont need to be head to toe in your colors. ya know?

    hey there,

    You can just switch the swatch to mint and then the sash to latte. Yeah I can do a brown shawl and nude shoes. I think the guys are wearing a black tuxedo and bowtie so knowing my fiance he will want to decide on what he wants to wear. So I was thinking of just having them green boutonniers (sp?).
