Color Addition? Be honest....

in African American Weddings
GM! Suffering from insomnia tonight....our present colors are TEAL Green and GOLD...I've found that Orange is a good accent color and makes the teal pop..but I've also seen the original colors with Blue..as in peacock detail....my BMs are wearing the same dress but alternate colors of teal and gold....should I make ORANGE or ROYAL BLUE a third or LEAVE IT BE? If added.. How about my two MOHs dress color be of the possible new addition?

    Do you have swatches of your colors.. or pics of them in the dresses... I'm a visual person, so seeing the colors together will help me see if they work well together... that's just me.. I definitely think the orange will "pop".. but hey.. the gold could as well.

    I LOVE orange but I kinda like the blue idea since I think peacock colors look gorgeous for weddings

    Leese!  it's on your mind early this morning huh girl?  lol!  all good.    I'm with Mari it's hard for me to put it together unless I see it - try this link, it'll allow you to start with a primary color and as you scroll down, it will place other colors with your primary.  you can see I started by choosing teal and it paired all the color palettes that you might like as coordinating colors.  I cant even vote because everything looked so delicious.

    fitna mess around and miss work coloring your weddin.  lol.  if you trade out the aqua in this picture for teal and add some gold and deeper blue touches that would look lovely too.  okay, i'm stopping now for real.









    anybody else annoyed that palette boards only ever feature caucasian brides?  hunh.

    I'm using malibu blue, black and white with line green accents. What helped was us actually seeing the colors together. Thank God for bridal shows. The vendor we are going to use for linens did a quick demo for us. I get to throw in a splash of damask

    Thank you all!! After a long discussion and my showing the pics you ladies posted....we have decided on adding the darker royal blue to the mix...my two MOHs will be wearing those dresses....this what gave me the original idea of the dress

    its a short pick-up dress that looks great on all my BMs varying body types (YEAH I LOVE MY IMAGINATION)....AND these are the dresses they will be ordering from Davids Bridal ...
