So FI thinks it's "odd" that I just got a clutch for the wedding that's not white, my logic was that it's brown and one of our colors is brown and because it's brown it makes it use-able after the wedding. What do you all think? (picture of the clutch I just got is below, from Etsy, details in my bio)

I haven't gotten around to picking out my accessories yet, but I was planning on adding some color with them! I think the one you got is really cute!

I have red shoes, and will be wearing my grandma's garnet jewelry.
Honestly, I don't get the whole white shoes/white accessories/white flowers thing that some people expect for brides. I'm planning on purple shoes, and luckily my mom loves the idea.

So many of the wedding details are one-time-only, and that makes it special - like the gown - but I can't imagine having everything sit in my closet for eternity!
I'm looking for blue or black shoes
I have blue & black clutches (but I'm a purse-hound, so I might buy a new one by Aug!)
Some things will still be all white-pearl: flowers, necklace, earrings.
reviews to come, i promise
