Southern Oaks - Comfortable fit????

Hi everyone.  My reception will be held at Southern Oaks Plantation for 230 guests.  I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if it would feel crowded at SOP with the size guest list.  SOP is beautiful...I'm just concerned that with the multiple rooms and whether it will be obviously that there isnt enough seating.  Please help.

    I am also doing my reception at Southern Oaks and am at a little over 200 on the guests. I don't think it will be uncomfortable since the food is hand passed and not an actual sit down dinner. Plus, the outside space makes for even more room for people to mingle. Hope that helps!

    I've attended a few weddings there with over 200 guests and the utilization of the multiple rooms doesn't feel as though anyone is cut off from the action, I've sat in the main ballroom and in the seperate rooms and I never felt as though I missed anything. Your event should be very nice and besides hopefully everyone spends all night on the dancefloor anyways! :-)

    Thanx ladies!!! You're absolutely right - I do hope that everyone stays on the dance floor! Since its the winter, I may or may not make use of the poolside area depending on the temperatue...but who knows how the weather will me in Jan in NOLA (lol).. Its good to know that the rooms dont create a disconnection from the main room..I hope all goes well!
