Delaware Brides - Photogrrapher Question

Should we be charged tax on our photography package in Delaware? Our original photographer (who did not charge us tax) had to cancel on us and we were surpirsed to see tax on our new contract. The tax adds about $150 to our bill so I want to make sure it is correct. Thanks!

    Is your other photographer out of DE?
    If not, I believe that even if your WEDDING is in DE, if the phogroagrapher is based out of another state, then they have to tax?

    wow...even my videographer from philly didn't charge tax...but lbug is right, they can charge tax by the rates of the state they're from.

    We only had one photographer we interviewed from PA try to charge us tax.  The fact that she insisted on it, when no one else did (and our videographer from PA didnt) we didn't even meet with her.  From what I was told it is based on where the wedding is held, not where the vendor does business.

    My photog was from Philly and charged tax...it stunk to pay it, esp since he was in the city.
