T&Ps Please-- UPDATED!!!

Last night FI's brother's dog was abducted. A yellow lab.

My friend's friend's dog was also abducted last week, also a lab, about 10 miles away.

FI's brother's neighbor saw 3 young boys walking around near their home three times. They had a white car so FI's brother followed them on his ATV and got their plates. He has reported her missing and is trying to do something about this right now. He's a lawyer so he's trying to be careful- he doesn't want them to hurt the dog. FI's brother also has a black lab who is a sweetheart.

I'm terrified for them and I don't want to bring Tucker anywhere near that area anymore until they get the person/people.

    That is terrible, terrible news :( I'm sorry I don't have much to contribute except that I am so sorry. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!!!!

    Oh my gosh I'm so sorry to hear about this. I wouldn't be bringing my dog in that area either. I hope it's just some punk kids playing a stupid prank. I'll definitely keep you and your families in my thoughts and prayers.

    Omigosh, that is horrible. Why are people dog-napping? My mind went right to dog-fight training -- I really hope that is not the case. Either way, I am definitely sending T's and P's your way.

    She just showed up!!!! We are SO happy. We have no idea where she was. Either she got freaked out by the fireworks and ran off or somebody dropped her off. It's difficult to believe that she could have just taken off overnight. Maybe the people realized they were going to get caught when the neighbor saw them and followed them. We have no idea.

    At least she is back. It was terrifying to picture what could have happened her because back in the fall there was a string of dog shootings near that area. Every few days a random person would pull up to some house and shoot the dogs who were outside. I think 5 dogs died.

    I hate people sometimes.
