Hello my lovelies!
Today is my wedding day. It feels like I would never actually get to say those words, but here we are and today is the day! Over 5 years ago, I met Dennis and I knew from the beginning that he was an amazing and special guy. We’ve taken the long road to get where we are, but I wouldn’t trade a minute of what we have gone through because it’s made us that much stronger as a couple! When he proposed in December… I thought September was ages away… but it’s amazing how fast it creeps up on you, but I am SO glad that today here! I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it!!
My family arrived from NC early, early Thursday morning (like 6am!!) and I promptly put them all to bed J It’s been a crazy few days, but I am super happy to have been able to spend time with them since I see them so rarely. My nephews’ wife made it down just in time for the Rehearsal Dinner, but since her son is my ring bearer and there isn’t that much to do… it was fine. I am just glad that they made it safe and sound. I wish my nephew could have made it, but I understand he had a job to do and had to see that through. I am so happy and blessed to have everyone who loves me being with us today! I really wish my mom could be here, but I know she is watching and is happy that I found the man to love me the way I deserve to be loved! Ok enough of that, I can’t start crying already!
To my SFL Knotties… What can I say? Without you girls, I don’t know how I would have made it through the planning process with my sanity intact. Because of all the love, support and inspiration I have received from you all, I am confident that today will be an amazing day that I will never forget. I hope everyone has learned from my mistakes and has an amazing day of their own. Just remember, regardless of what happens… Your marriage is bigger than your wedding. The wedding is just a day. I hope you all enjoy it, but after all the guests have gone home, and the honeymoon is over, this is about marrying the man we love and sharing our life with him forever!

Lynette – Thank you for all the advice and support. You helped me with my programs, which are sure to be a hit among the crowd! You have been amazing!!
Dee – What would I have done without you saving the day for me left and right? My only regret is that I hadn’t met you earlier. Your help with my table numbers and all sorts of ideas and support has been invaluable; I love you, caca woman!
Gabi – You are such an amazingly sweet woman. Thank you for all the support. It’s impossible not to smile when talking to you!
Karen – Why couldn’t we have met sooner?!?! I can’t wait to see you on 10.10.10!!! Thank you for being a wonderful friend!
Rosemery – You are such a sweetheart. I loved our 3 hour conversation the first time we ever talked! With you saving the day and not letting me think about what needs to be done… I know your day will be amazing, because you are amazing! If there is anything I can do… just ask!
Natalie – I can never thank you enough! You have helped me through so much! You have been an amazingly calm influence and have helped me not freak out through some of the worst that has come my way. With you there, I feel safe about my wedding that we worked so hard to plan. I love you and will forever be thankful that you came into my life.
I am sure I forgot someone (I am so not a morning person), and I am very very sorry, and I love you all! I had to sneak out of my room to type this up, my MOH stayed with me last night. But I wanted to tell you all how much I love you and have appreciated all the support and friendships I have made here.
I promise to come back soon with reviews and to continue to pop in every now and then to say hi. I still am not ready to be a Nestie… L
Ok, I gotta get going… I am off to get my married on. Can’t wait to hear my song... Meet me at the alter in your white dress…
