I had the most horrible experience with the Hy-Vee in Grand Island. I sent them an email detailing everything I wanted for a menu (including labor), except the specific cut of red meat. They sent back email quoting me $15-20 a person. At the tasting we selected prime rib. They then sent back a quote of $39.99 a person!!! They said that the price increase was because they forgot to quote shrimp cocktail and the cost of prime rib. After meeting with the store manager, kitchen manager and catering manager they still came back at $39.99 even if we changed the cut of red meat. Not to mention I had been emailing with them since July 5, they had to cancel the first tasting because they didn't tell the kitchen manager about it and it took two months since our tasting to get the quote of $39.99 per person.
