what is a nice way to tell guests that only the people addressed on the invitation are allowed to come? I mean we tried to accomodate everyone but it is nearly impossible.  We mostly mean children, and +1's that we do not know.  HELP please!

    Thank you, so you don't think I need to put out an extra note in the invites saying only invited people attend?

    Another idea I'm using (besides the way I title my envelopes) is on my invites, instead of having the M_________ line, I replaced it with Name(s)________ this way, there is no question when I get my responses back,who they are responding for, and if there are any names there that I don't approve of, I can let them know right away!

    Just make sure you're not excluding SOs. I wouldn't care if you never met my husband (or BF or FI depending on the time in history). We are a social unit and should be invited together.
