I just wanted to tell everyone how AMAZING my day was!! Thanks to your wonderful knottie vibes, there wasn't a dark cloud in the sky!!!
Natalie and Rosemery were AMAZING! Everything was so beautiful I couldn't take it all in! I keep noticing new things in the pics and I am just blown away by how wonderful everything was!
I had that surreal zen feeling all day, and nothing bothered me! 
I hope everyone’s day is as wonderful as mine! I am off to my HM tomorrow – We aren’t doing Costa Rica right now… too much chance of it being rained out. We will be going in April!.

THE DRESS & BM’s Dresses – Alfred AngeloALoved them. Affordable and friendly. My dress came in too early… that was my only complaint. But I got THOUSANDS of compliments!

Price was great, flowers looked amazing! I did them all myself and I am super pleased with them. I spent like $150 for 5 BM bouquets, 6 bouts, and my bouquet.

Very Sweet woman… I Loved her… BUT… When I went on the 18th for my 3rd appointment to pick up my dress… It wasn’t done! L
Maybe it was miscommunication on my part or due to the language barrier… but my bustle wasn’t finished (it was uneven and missing 2 bustles and the hem wasn’t started…) She said it was because she pinned the bustle last time, but they told me the 2nd appointment was for the outer hem AND the bustle and I was to pick it up on the 18th. If I had been told I needed ANOTHER fitting, I wouldn’t have scheduled it for the week before my wedding. Since it was all pinned up and was the right length, I told Reina to finish hemming it, and FSIL would pick it up on Wednesday (3 days later)… and I wouldn’t need to try it on again… I mean really… 4 times?? For a hem and bustle?
BUT… I don’t think my dress was really hemmed. It was WAY to long… I had to wear my 3 inch heels ALL night… and was STILL tripping over it. I WASN’T tripping over it in the shop in the same shoes on the 18th when it was pinned up TO BE HEMMED.
My bustle broke early on, but that wasn’t really her fault, except maybe if the dress was hemmed right, it wouldn’t have been so long…. Who knows.
Everyone is human and makes mistakes, so if that is what it is… well I am fine with that. I am not making a stink about it, and would STILL recommend her, but I would not trust her with blind faith like I did. MAKE SURE YOU TRY YOUR DRESS ON EVERY TIME and maybe get in writing what is being done when… She was affordable…

Kristen was absolutely AMAZING! She has been fantastic with communication from DAY 1!!!
She showed up on time, brought an assistant (her hubby, since her normal assistant is 8 mo preggo!) and the got started even though I was late... heheheShe was amazingly affordable ($600 for all rights to my pictures on a disk and she was there ALL day!) and she has an amazing payment policy which helps struggling brides like me… You pay half down to secure your date, and the balance 2-3 weeks later to receive your pictures! How awesome is that!!!
Every time I thought, “I want to take a picture of me and this person…” like magic, there she was! I never had to look for her or ask her to take anything! So far the shots I have seen are awesome! She is on FB, so if you haven’t friended her already, do so!!! My pics will be out in about 2 weeks!

Hotel – Courtyard by Marriott Stuart

The people at the courtyard were great! Super friendly and very willing to accommodate us! When I needed a last minute place to have my RD… they allowed us to have ours outside in their patio area by the pool for free. It was beautiful and everyone had a great time!
Hair – Tip (Yes, that is her real name!) – Mahz Hair Salon in Jupiter, FL

ip has been my hair stylist since I was 15 and she has done almost every up-do I have ever had in my life. She took about an hour to do my hair, did 3 of my BM’s hair all in about 3-4 hours and for under $200!! She is undoubtedly a talented woman! She is also very affordable… BM’s hair for about $50… depending on the style, and she didn’t charge me a travel fee. She did my hair for very cheap, but I don't know if it is because she loves me... Ask her how much she would charge you!
Makeup – Megan H. (one of my MOH’s)

Megan doesn’t actually DO makeup for a living, but she does hers so beautifully, I asked if she would do mine and she agreed! I was in love! She also did 4 or 5 of my BMS… I don’t know for sure who did what!
Venue – C.r.y.s.t.a.l D.a.n.c.e/R.e.c.e.p.t.i.o.n H.a.l.l. aka S.t.a.r.l.i.g.h.t C.a.t.e.r.i.n.g
I’m breaking this down into 2 parts, the actual place and the service
Reception Location –
C+
o The hall was beautiful, but I have no doubt that 95% of that is owed to Natalie and Rosemery! He provided tables, chairs, linens, dishes, sound system, lighting, ceiling sheers, chandelier, dance floor, Eiffel tower center pieces, bus boys and a bartender… I think that’s about it.
o The fountains out front are disgusting; they have mold/mildew in them and cigarette butts floating in them.
o The flat screen tv’s that we were told would be there were not installed in time for our ceremony. This was a big part of why we chose the location, as DH is a HUGE Yankee Fan and they were playing Boston the night of our wedding!
o The bathroom doors wouldn’t shut fully, (they just had hook and latch locks) and I could see people peeing and people could see ME! Seriously?
Customer Service – F+ (pending how he handles returning my $500 security deposit)
You all know the issues I have had here, so I won’t re-hash them. Just sum them up…...
· Terrible communication
o Had to hound him to follow up on quotes I had asked him for
§ RD – Originally quoted $60 for labor… then received completely different price. § Price difference to cut alcohol – apparently it was $100 less for 3 hours alcohol for 75 people.
§ Charged full price for CHILDREN – Including alcohol… Think they even served the table of 15-18 year olds.
o Was rude to me about “cancelling” the RD… (Because he could have booked another wedding…) when he told me one price then finally sent a quote WEEKS later that was NOT what we discussed… He could have told me why it wasn’t the $60 he told me…
o RD space was INCLUDED in my package anyway (so even if I didn’t use it, he shouldn’t have been planning on using the hall the night before anyway.)o Rude about seating arrangements, didn’t provide 75 seats even though I was charged for 75 people, and said it was MY fault.
· Broken Promises/Unfulfilled Commitments
o 2 Flat Screen TV’s – Not Installed (possibly not even purchased)
- Yet was still promising it to other clients in June.
o Told us that he was having a group tasting on 7/18 and we would taste all the food then. He never followed through and never bothered to tell us he was cancelling the tasting.o Said he would deduct money for the food portion for my convenience since he was unable to provide a tasting. Said, no one has ever gotten sick off his food. Like THAT is comforting.
o Cake Cutting – He Specifically told me they do not charge a cake cutting fee… and he never provided cakes, so to tell us at 8:45 that he was not cutting the cake was a huge surprise. (Again… Huge Thanks to Natalie & Rosemery for saving the day gracefully)o I’m sure there was more but that’s all I can think of for now.
· Lots of unpleasant surprises
Final Damage - $3207 (I think – That includes the $500 Refundable Security Deposit which I haven’t gotten back yet)
Catering – Panariello’s Pizza – 772.878.6640 – Port Saint Lucie

Food was delicious! Service was amazing! I told them my sob story about my previous caterer (Venue)… and they got back to me within an hour and beat the Venue’s price by almost HALF! They charged me about $7 pp for food! They really went all out and were super helpful! I can’t say too much about them, except you seriously have got to try them some time!!! If you are getting married in Martin or Saint Lucie county, I HIGHLY recommend them!
RD - $149.98 for 40 ppl (6 ft sub, 3 pizzas and 2 trays of salad!)
Wedding - $570 – 80 portions Chicken Parm, 2 Trays Ziti with Red Sauce, 2 Trays Garlic Knots! Including delivery.

Elena is a SWEETHEART and a professional. She was so kind, I give HER a A+++++ and HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

Other than dinner... I don't think I sat down for more than a minute or two at a time all evening and I know I danced in my heels until 10:00 because I didn't stop dancing long enough to take them off!
