hello all,

my wedding is in westchester, but i live in nyc and the majority of my fiance and my friends will be coming in from nyc. we're looking for a bus to transport guests to and from the wedding venue out of manhattan; nothing fancy, just something reliable.

    Try school buses. Thats what i did. I got 2 school buses for the price of 1 coach bus.

    Ditto both pp's! The school bus companies and Peter Pan will give you a much better rate than the "wedding shuttle companies". You might even want to check and see if the county will allow you to rent a bus for the day. (See if the Bee-line bus in Westchester or the Rockland transport companies will rent). Some counties will rent-out, others won't.)

    thanks ladies! i contacted peter pan and their quote for RT transportation from Manhattan to New Rochelle was 1000 + tip. Looking for something a bit less expensive; with the school buses, how did you begin your search?
