Color Anxiety

Finally after much agonizing I have settled on colors Chocolate Brown, Champagne and Burnt Orange.  
I have decided that my girls are wearing Truffle(, which is basically a dark chocolate brown from Davids.) They have all picked out floor length gowns, not sure if that matters or not but anyways... 
 My groom will be wearing a really amazing handmade vest that  is a mix of oranges, reds and browns. 
I am thinking I want the groomsmen to go with something that compliments the groom and the bmaids.  Would back suits with black ties work? or even just black vests over black ties. ( I also want everyone to wear chuck taylors) 
We are getting married Oct.24 at the Roger Williams Park Bandstand at 2pm. (not sure if that detail is important or not) 

So with all the rambling I have done I guess I am basically asking what the heck I do for the groomsmen?????  Thank you in advance to anyone who made it through this rambling post. :-)

    Typically the GM coordinate with the BMs.  So black tuxes with chocolate vests/ties/whatever would look nice! 

    But you don't have to do what's typical.  A paler champagne vest/tie/whatever would be nice too.  I probably wouldn't do orange b/c that would compete too much with the groom's vest.  I also probably wouldn't do black b/c that would look like you meant to do brown for the guys or you meant to do black for the girls. 

    2pm is a good time for a wedding on 10/24.  You're going to have really nice light for your formal photos.  I based my October wedding day timeline on what time the sun set.  :-)  I wanted that warm golden sunlight for our pics.

    It was once considered a fashion faux-pas - but black and brown can look amazing together (when done right) - I personally love it. And as Tim Gunn says - "Make it work!" :)

    Thanks ladies! I think I just need to see it in person ya know. I have seen some pics of the black tux with choc brown vest and tie and it looks really amazing.
