JENGIN (and other nook color folk)

Hey!

I have a B&w Nook and I have been THINKING about upgrading to the nook color next year. Do you like it? I like the black and white because the e-ink is so easy on the eyes. Does the nook color cause eye strain? Do you get a lot of glare outside?

Thanks :)

  • HI!

I haven't had ANY eye strain but I can't use it outside in bright sunlight. However, being able to read it in bed has been invaluable. I can't even explain how much I love my nook color.
  • I love my nook color.  It is very hard to read outside, I have to be in a shady area.  Other than that I wouldn't trade it for the world.
  • Get one!

I seriously love this thing. I don't use mine outside, so I can't comment on glare issues, but they do sell anti-glare screen protectors.

It's also great for surfing the web and the virtual keyboard is big enough (especial when held longways instead up upright) to use easily.

    I highly recommend it.

  • Star, you should totally get one!  As for the glare, I have the anti-glare screen protector and it works for me, though I haven't used it outside a great deal.  I'll get back to you after I take it to the beach this summer lol.  GET ONE!

  • I haven't used mine outside--then again, I'm rarely outside (very fair-skinned) but I love it.  The only thing I don't like is the reletively short battery life.  I'm waiting to see what the upgrade does this week.
