Hello!

I am recently engaged!  I have been wedding planning for about 3 weeks now, but I have gotten a good chunk of it done.  We are getting married this August at the Detroit Yacht Club.  I picked out a beautiful dress from the Wedding Shopped in Berkley and am in the process of shopping for a photographer (which I find more stressful than venue shopping!)  Really grateful for all of the helpful advice on here.  Just wanted to say hi!

    Welcome and congrats on your engagement. Sounds like you've been busy!

    I peeked at your bio and see you indicated you are having black & white. If you need anything in black and white, let me know........those were my colors last August and I have so much stuff to sell. I don't post it on the "For Sale" posts because it gets tedious and repetitive. If you check my bio link below, you can go to the photo link, then pro pics, and you can see the stuff I had. The only things I'm not selling are the white candlesticks and silver bowls, because I just let everybody take them home. If you are interested just PM me your email and we can chat about it.

    Welcome to the board, I'm a DYC bride as well! They've been great to work with, so I hope you have a similar experience. I'm using Tamara Wade at Silver Thumb Photography. She's a bit on the expensive side, but does great work.

    Congrats and welcome!  Hope you are enjoying the planning as much as I have been (for over a year now).  

    Our photographer is Lance Thomason from Studio L Artistry in Photography www.studiolartistry.com.  He is amazing to work with and his pictures are beautiful!  You get so much for your money.
