Hair and Make up

I have Smart and Chic booked, but I haven't been able to get a hold of them at all. They must be super busy! I am kind of exploring other options since I really need to get my hair and make up trail done like now. Anyone have any other recs? I would perfer someone who can come to me my wedding is in St. Louis Park. I looked into Brett to but I think she is a little out of budget for me.

    Did you call and email?  I know it seems annoying, but that is what I did and got a response very fast.  I first emailed and then called and left a message saying I emailed them also and I was looking for a response fast.  I would mention that you are having a hard time getting a hold of them, etc.  I did this and heard back in about 2 hours via email.

    Glad to hear I'm not the only one!  It's kind of starting to piss me off.  But I'll mention in my next message that I emailed them - like a WEEK ago.  Thanks for the tip!

    Did you email Anita?  That is so weird you are getting a slow response.  The last three times I've emailed her and Amber B, I get a response within 2 hrs.  I would keep trying - call them, too.

    I got fed up with them. I was going to have them do my hair and makeup too. I emailed to see if they were free for my wedding day. They contacted me right away and seemed more concerned about booking a trial than simply answering my question if they have availability. Then three weeks later they want to know if I am still interested, I was contacted by a second person apologizing for the slow response and wanted to know if I needed them. I still hadn't booked anyone, so I was, but still had no definitive answer if they even had anyone avail. A week and a half later they responded to let me know....By a THIRD contact person. I asked about the cost of their services to confirm and then a week later they responded by a FOURTH person. But before then I said F-it! And booked someone else. I figured it would take them forever to even show up! I am sure they do good work, but they have got to get their organization restyled!

    I am also wondering where everyone went or is going to. I have been trying to get my trial scheduled with Smart and Chic for Months! They say they have me on the schedule for my wedding day & a stylist. Now they want me to fill out a form to give a CC # to reserve my day & if I cancel less then 4 weeks I get charged. Well my wedding is in 24 days and I still have no trial scheduled so no CC# for them!!

    I acctually deicded to just book with Juut today. I will have to go into the salon, but I have full confidence with them. Also I already have a trail scheduled for Friday. :)
