Hollywood Bridal

For anyone that purchased their wedding dress at Hollywood Bridal...
Is the tag price really the bottom line price? I tried a Casablanca dress on there that I loved and they said there was no wiggle room in the price b/c alterations are included (except for the bustle) - I was just wondering if anyone had a different experience.
Thanks!

This is going to sound strange, but  I think they have a coupon that they advertise at times in a local paper or something.  My friend's mom had found it when my friend was shopping for her wedding dress.  I think it was for 10% off, ask about that maybe?

Go to Russells in Linden with the name and number of the dress, or just call them and they will do better for you. That is what I did.

I just bought my dress at Russell's a few weeks ago...they include alterations AND bustle for FREE. I went to Hollywood Bridals a few hours before I went to Russell's and did not have a great experience - I was told I'd have to pay for the bustle, as only the alterations were included. There was a $3,700 dress that was totally out of my price range that they were trying to sell me there...they said they'd give me 10% off, but the other dress I tried which was $1,700 I think, they did not mention a discount on. I went to Russell's and bought my dress, veil, and tiara for $1800 TOTAL. I felt like I got an amazing deal.

A friend of mine bought her dress at this store in PA.  I know its a far trip but she said that she picked her dress up and bought it to Hollywood Bridal to do her alterations and saw her exact dress there and said it was alot more money.

So if anyone has the time to take an 1 1/2 road trip to PA to save a couple of hundred bucks I can find out the store for you.

NJBRIDE324 - if you find out the name of the store, please let me know. I actually live down near Princeton so PA isn't too far for me.
    Thanks!

Alterations were free at Russells and all my girls dresses were discounted.  I didnt have a good experience at Hollywood Bridal either.  You cant beat the prices and service and nice people at Russells.

I bought a bridesmaids dress at Hollywood for my friends wedding and I ended up getting my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses there as well.  I had gone to a million stores- including Kleinfeld and the ladies at Hollywood were by far the nicest, most helpful and warm women I'd met during the process.  You can't beat free alterations. They are nice and professional when I call and even recognize my voice before I say my name (and no, I do not call them often!). I saved over a thousand dollars shopping there instead of at Kleinfeld.  I would recommend Hollywood to anyone who is dress shopping.

I was engaged 5 years ago and the bridesmaid bought their dresses at Russel's, but we ended up calling off the wedding, and the store wouldn't refund them their deposit money (even though the dresses hadn't even shipped yet and it was only a month after they ordered them). they gave them credits, which they still have years later, because they don't plan on buying any other dresses there!
