Wedding Website question...

So I finally decided to do a wedding website.  My question is this...where do you provide the address?  In the invite?  I have only been to one wedding in the past couple years that actually had one and I can't remember where the info was provided.

TIA!

Re: Wedding Website question...

  • We made an info card that listed the website and basic hotel accommodation info. I'd recommend something like that, even if it is a small business card size that lists your website. I've seen some that just print it on a really small strip of praper with the website on it, attach it to a ribbon, and tie it around the invitation.

  • We put ours on the info panel of our invitations.

  • We had a seperate insert for it in our pocketfolds.  I'm sure if you aren't doing pocketfolds, you could just include a small card.

  • Thanks ladies!  I was thinking of inserting a small card, like the size of a business card.  I just wasn't sure if that was appropriate.

  • We added our website address to the invitation, way down at the bottom. That way we didn't have to pay more postage as we might have if we added another enclosure.

  • W didn't have enough room on the front of our invite so we included it centered on the back towards the bottom of the invite.

  • We also included a card that had the website on it and basic hotel information.

  • I intended to work on invites this weekend, and thought I would include ours on our RSVP - encouraging RSVP on the website! I haven't managed to get that far, so I appreciate the other ideas!

  • Thanks for all the input, Ladies.  I now have an idea of what I will be doing!

  • I like your idea of small business card sized inserts. I've seen a lot of invite suites where people include cards made from Moo Cards with their engagement photos and then the website on the back. Moo Cards are here-- click.
