Need to find an inexpensive venue!!

Looking for a wedding venue (preferably in the greater TC's area) that is nice - yet inexpensive. Our budget for food and bev + ceremony is right around $8-$10K. HELP!!?!?!?!

I've searched most of the one's listed on here and found a few options, anyone know of some "hidden gems" that I may be missing??

    check out the Elegance room in Blaine. They are very budget friendly.

    I'd ask on the Minneapolis board-- you will get a lot more responses. 
    We're going with the Washington County Historic Courthouse. Very reasonable and they let you pick your own vendors which saves a TON. 
    The Steeple Center in Rosemount is really, really inexpensive. Check them out, too. Lots of good reviews on it from the MSP board.

    We are using courtyards of Andover in Andover, MN! Very reasonable and yet they have been great to work with! :)

    we chose "The Wilds" Golf Course in Prior Lake, near Mystic Lake Casino. Fairly inexpensive with no hidden fees... the quote came in well under our budget, and the place was really nice with a killer patio. Thanks again to everyone for the ideas :)

    That is were I booked my wedding!! So gorgeous, and Shannon and Nancy are amazing coordinators! When did you book it for?

    Right on! Ours is Labor day weekend 2011 (Sunday, the 4th of September). What about you guys?

    Shannon was awesome - didn't get a chance to meet Nancy, but of all the places we checked out, Shannon was the most welcoming - by far!

    Ours isn't until May of 2012, we wanted to wait until we graduate. Also, we are having our ceremony outside on the terrance, and the flowers are in ful bloom in May! Shannon truly is amazing with all of this stuff, she has given me so many great ideas, along with free stuff for the reception and stuff!

    Hey there. We are having ours at The Varsity Theater in Minneapolis (Dinkytown area). The owner is the same as The Loring Pasta Bar, which has amazing food. He just renovated The Varsity and it is wonderful. We also are keeping costs down by having a Sunday evening there.
