Help me find a cool jazz group for cocktails and dinner!

Hi! I am getting married in September. (that's coming up soon!) We already have a DJ, but would like live music for cocktails and dinner. 

We would love a cool, fun jazz trio or quartet with a vocalist to sing standards and maybe a few contemporary songs that they put their own spin on. I found two groups that I liked: Bon Musique and Lapis Luna, but they are just too expensive, since the agency that books them charges a steep commission. 

My fiance and I are getting married in the Hudson Valley, so if it's an NYC group, they would have to travel.

Any ideas? All suggestions are appreciated!

    We hired Soul Revival and they play a ton of jazz, especially for cocktail hour and dinner.  I highly recommend them and their prices are really good.  Their website is: www.soulrevivalband.com

    Hi Alex! Two jazzy and terrific bands I have been looking at myself that should be able to travel and sound like they will be a good fit are The Sidewinders (http://www.thesidewindersmusic.com/live/) and Jerry Costanzo (www.jerrycostanzo.com), if you are into Frank Sinatra. 

    Have you checked out gigmasters.com yet? That site might be useful in your search as well, but they charge a fee to the performers as well. Best bet is to contact the bands I mentioned above directly if you like their music. Hope this helps! (I am a Hudson Valley girl too...much luck to you).
