  I have not, but I just recently went through my own DJ search.  We did go and talk to Electric Blue....personally speaking I was less than impressed with how the individual we talked to handled himself in the consultation compared to others....but again, that is just my personal "first" impression.  I was expecting more...and so I was disappointed.   We actually ended up going with Answer Back Entertainment out of Manhattan/Mokena area.  That is an independent DJ....newer company, a young guy....definitely reasonably priced and willing to work with you on that too.  He came across as extremely excited about what he does, which is one of the main reasons why we chose him.  He said he had been DJ'ing for  about 10 years, and when we asked who he had been with, he said it was electric blue....so there must be good DJ's there, if we liked ours and he was from there originally!  But if you are open, it would not hurt to try Tim too!

  We are surprised to see this. We have discussed it around the office and concluded one of two things happened. One is that you came in and we represented ourselves poorly that day, and we are sorry you didn’t have the experience you were expecting. We are aware that we are not extremely flashy on the sales side of the business, and realize it would be foolish to deny the possibility of a bad appointment.

   The other possibility is, we know there is a company out there that represents itself as us. We do on occasion receive payments and paperwork from people that thought they were our clients, but were not. This too may have happened to c018924.  The great majority of people that come to our office for a meeting enjoy their time here and soon become part of Electric Blue’s clientele, so we would hate for this thread to discourage anyone from visiting.

  We certainly agree that Tim from Answer Back, is extremely good, and is the only one man operation that we would ever refer someone to. We are happy to know that you found him if you ended up not choosing Electric Blue.

  Our prices have increased a little since this was posted, but we do make a great effort to be the least expensive full time operation out there, and as far as we know we have managed to hold our price to that standard.
