We have a date!!!!
November 5, 2011! I have the contract in hand and just have to sign and fax it back to them. We looked at 8 places total, so I'm so excited to finally be done with freaking venue tours. Hoping to now book our photographer, DJ and officiant and then just take a long break from everything wedding planning related for a few months. But anyways, I'm just excited to finally have an official wedding date so I had to share

My Tuesday could be ten times better. I have a headache and I'm trying to get everything ready so I can go to school in Chicago in January. For some reason I can't continue my housing application because the system is being trippy! I've sent numerous e-mails and I've tried calling. I just want answers! At least I get to work out tonight...
Heart- I feel for you, I always hated the online applications for stuff like that. It seemed my school ALWAYS had problems with their website.

Yay for setting a date and a venue!!! Since I'm getting married on March 5, I'm kind of partial to the 5th of the month - good choice!
Moto - I had narrowed my search down to about 8 or so venues I wanted to get more details on, so I just emailed each of them to get some basic info. I set up appointments with the 1st 2 that responded; 2 others were out of our price-range, 1 only sent a pretty rude response back and I still haven't heard from 3 of them (3 months later). Don't stress it.
My Tuesday has been pretty good - spent the day shopping with my mom. We got some of the supplies needed for the bouquets and got my hair clip (don't have a picture of it), but I saw it and gasped, so I guess that was a sign I had to have it (and couldn't be the price, either).
