Help, please!! Need help finding a place for his special day!

while this isn't for a wedding, i know if anyone has any good suggestions, it would be the ladies here on the knot!!

our little boy is turning 1 in august and even though we are just having family and friends, it too many people for our home.  we'd like to find an affordable location that can accomodate approx 60 to 75 people and is KID friendly.  even though he's only 1, there are a lot of kids in the family and we'd like to have activities for them as well.

we'd like to be outside, but have a indoor escape for parents and older family members.  we will have people from the pawtucket area and new bedford coming, but we're willing to travel if its worth it.

When I think affordable and kid-friendly with indoor-outdoor areas, I think Aspray Boathouse in Pawtuxet Park in Warwick. It's not fancy, but you can decorate. Only downside I can see is that you are only supposed to have 56 people inside the building at any time. They say on the site that there can be more milling about outside the facility in warm months. You can request to use the park and the gazebo free of charge.

Best part is it costs $75 plus refundable deposit, and an extra $25 if you want to use the kitchen, which might be worth it if you're all bringing food from home and such.

You could also check into the carousel at Goddard Memorial State Park. You'd have plenty of space for everyone, and I believe that it's only about $200 for the entire day. Since the event would take place in August, you would probably want to bring in your own fans, though, because I don't think they offer AC... but you could contact them and verify that.
