I had my hair trial today with the woman who my FI's mom goes to regularly to get her hair done. FMIL is paying for my hair to get done on the day of the wedding, which I am super thankful for.
I have never ever gotten my hair done at a salon so I was nervous, and I felt dumb because I wasn't one hundres percent sure what I wanted. I did have some pictures and two things that I knew I wanted for sure: my hair out of my face, and to showcase my long hair.
She did a good job with number one, as it turned out a little too good of a job, because from the front it really just looked like my hair was pulled straight back. And I have no idea how she thought what she did was showcasing my long hair. Ugh. I let her know I wasn't very happy and she moved some things around and we figured it out for the day of, but it was still a little frustrating. I felt a lot better after going home and doing some work on it.
I am annoyed because I accidentally deleted the pictures of how she sent me home. I only have what I did to it when I got home to make it look more what I wanted. I took pictures and will be showing them to her in hopes that she can make it work.
I am basically going to have a ponytail on the side and then probably figure out some sort of flower or hairpiece that I can wear during the reception I will be wearing a veil with a blusher for the ceremony
