We're meeting with our realtor at 10.

Because of the inspection we're going to have to ask for them to make major repairs and if they refuse, we're going to have to walk away.

Sorry, crash... :-/ Hopefully that's not the news you get, though, and they'll do the right thing.

It's going to be so hard to go back to work tomorrow. I always look forward to November/December each year because we have so many holidays off work. Once it's over, it's a little depressing to realize the next holiday I get off work is Memorial Day.

Things that no longer work in our house:
DVD Player. I tried to do my Celebrity fit Club workout last night when I couldn't find the P90X stuff. Yeah, so 7 minutes in, the player freezes and won't open. Wonderful.

Ugh, hate that feeling. I just got my life back after the holiday season and all our parties. Now I am in super wedding mode til mid-Feb

Kathleen ~ good luck! The hose buying process sucks so much, but is so worth it once you're through it all! Wendi ~ I need you to be my P90X motivator, we haven't touched them since moving back from DC, which is close to two years now **ugh** And I'm going to ditto angelsong...not looking forward to opening my Inboxwww tomorrow!!!

I haven't touched my P90X stuff in, oh, 2 YEARS. Yikes. LOL Kylie, as soon as I find them I will totally be your motivator. I seriously think FI hid them to avoid doing them.

I have got to focus on cleaning up and organizing this week so that I can finish up my DIY projects. I have 5 real weeks of wedding prep left, then I am off to LA the Monday through Thursday before we get hitched.

We need to start doing our P90X too. It got hard when FI was going to school at nights because he wouldn't get home until late.

We just got back from our realtor meeting a while back but we've been cleaning. We'll see what they come back with, but we may cut and run anyway just because of the potential problems we could have with some of the issues that aren't fixable.

FILs were talking about how much we paid for our inspection vs. how much they paid for an inspection when they bought their house last year. We paid a lot more, but I'm convinced it was worth every penny.

Admittedly I know nothing about buyinhg a home, but I would assume paying more for an inspection generally = a more thorough, accurate inspection? If so, I would have to agree with you. I'd MUCH rather pay more for a great inspection rather than get a half-a$$ed inspection, purchase a home based on mediocre information, and then be stuck with a very costly nightmare that you can't get out of later down the road.
