Reception or wedding dress so perfect I want to cry

I wanted my wedding and reception outfits to be really unique and fresh and for people to literally look at them and say, oh, I've never seen anything like that for an occasion such as this.

I accomplished my goal, IMO. I love my outfits.

BUT I just saw this gorgeous outfit on exclusively.in and it is SO perfect for a modern, romantic (but not syrupy), opulent, summer wedding!!!  Its simpler than my reception lengha, but I just love it.  I can't afford to buy another outfit now with everything going way out of budget... (invites, decorations, everything it seems).

So I thought I'd just share my love with you guys:  http://exclusively.in/weddings/bridal-lenghas/pm-311a.html

It's Kinseel's ivory and orange net lengha!  What a sight for sore eyes... sigh.

Oh no!  This is making me feel like I should buy the dress, LOL.

No... I'm not going to be that impulsive/wasteful.  Plus, I'm not buying a $2,000 dress without trying it on.  Those huge net dresses can be so tricky... esp. for someone who is short (like me).

Absolutely stunning, I feel for you!  I'd say since you have your outfits, literally stop looking!  It's only gonna cause serious disappointment....

What else do you have on your list to complete?

kpwedkk -I wasn't really looking for my wedding.  I just look at exclusively.in all the time.

What do I have left?  Let's see.... a lot... and my wedding is in July.  BUT I am really happy with what we have accomplished so far, so things are going well.  I have left:

*Flowers/Mandap/Linens (hope to close the deal this weekend on flowers and mandap).
    *Mailing invites(purchased and being printed).
*Finding print/graphic design vendor to create unique escort seating "board"
*Shoes for three outfits.  Jewelry for one outfit.  And a ring to wear with my fuchsia/orange wedding dress.  I found one on exclusively.in and let that sale slip by.  Darn!  Hate it when I do that.
*Picking song(s) for reception (e.g., first dance song and one song for father/daughter and mother/son dance -- we are doing it together) and planning reception sequence of events.
*Creating ultimate collection of 90's Indian music videos to play at our rehearsal dinner for some retro entertainment.
    *Out of town bags
    *Updating website
    to reflect events
*DIY photo table numbers (my fiance and I are photographing areas we love in Washington, DC, imprinting table nos., and printing medium-large photographs)

And then there are probably close to 100 pesky little things I don't even want to think about.

How about you??? What do you have left (unless you're already married, in which case, LUCKY)?

Hi TravelMal - my wedding has been done and  gone... I found too, (I love exclusively.in as well) that I had to switch to looking and obsessively getting myself into other wedding things so that I didn't go insane, and I was able to get everything done!

You don't have too many things left on your list :-)  have you gotten all of your invitees addresses yet?  That's gonna be pretty big when time seems to be down to the wire :)

Shoes!!  I was shoe shopping with my mom over the weekend, I always take a swatch of the item I'm gonna wear, Saree blouse, dupatta, etc, so that I can match my shoes accordingly :)   DSW, all the department stores, etc, and if you find something you like, try shopstyle.com, they have an array of shoes, and reasonably priced too!

Kudos for getting flowers / mandap close on the deal!

Have you picked out the jewelry you are going to wear on your bridal / reception outfit(s)?  What about getting make up done, have you done a trial yet?

    Talk with you soon,
    KP
