Cutting out soda

Trying to loose alot of weight, but I know i am a big soda drinker. THat  is the first thing to go. STARTING NOW... Also since I work swing shift till midnight I tend to wait to eat dinner till I get off work...THAT IS GOING TO STOP NOW TOO.... Who is with me in cutting out soda???

  • right there with ya!! i've quit 3 times and ended up giving in because of ease!! Its amazing once you start looking how many public places are all pop!! The first time i quit i was working retail at the mall, not a single place in food court had something besides pop except for one place had lemonade(which makes me feel sick) and then one place had kid sized apple juice!! I ended up giving in one day because i was covered in sweat, hot and thirsty and i hate water!
    I gave in again when we were out shopping for black friday and stood in one line for 3 hours at best buy and it was so stuffy in the store with all those people and when we got near the register there was a cooler with a cold diet coke and it was mine!!!

    my best suggestions is to keep soda alternates handy! if your going to do gatorage or juice or flavored water keep a spare in the car, at work and hide a couple at home too. so if you run out, your not really out because your first and easiet turn will be to pop!

    Also, try drinking sparkling ice. it is completely AMAZING

    and try flaovored sparkling water, walmart has a pineapple flavor and a a lemon lime, the lemon lime is a very close taste to sprite! all calorie free!
    lets do this!!!
  • Aside from the health benefits mentioned, did anyone find they lost weight?
