Hello everyone !!! I hope you all are doing great. My husband and I are in a different situation but not saying it's a bad one at all. Daniel and I have known each other for 9 years, I visited him in London and we met and everything just clicked. After many years we decided to get married, so we got a fiance visa and he just got here and we went downtown to do it as it does have to be done. We knew what we were getting ourselves into and so my parents joined us, we dressed up in our best and had it done. It was lovely, I'm glad to be married to him and don't regret it.
I am now here just looking up ideas for the large party we want to throw in a year when we can afford for his family to come and our family to be there. We aren't having a shower because I find it unfair as we would already be married. My family knows that we got married though, so its no secret. We just want to have a short ceremony in front of everyone outside (if we're able to have a renewal of vows) and have a huge party because this will also be his familys first time visiting since he's left.
I'm hoping I can get a lot of different ideas from this website, and thanks for listening everyone
