Be Careful When Selecting a Photographer -

Be sure to have your wedding photo list added into your contract before you sign!  If you don't, your photographer does not legally have to take any photo you ask for!

    This is not true. Shot lists are not included in a contract. Actually most photographers include a clause saying they can't guarantee any specifically requested image. This is to protect the photographer - say you had a shot requested with Aunt Sally and she ends up leaving the wedding early and you aren't able to get it. The photographer could be sued even though it wasn't possible to get the image. Just talk to your photographer about what you want and hire a professional.
