  We used ATRG and were soo happy with them.
  
  With that said, before we had signed a contract with them, we wanted to 'shop' around and see what else was out there and being offered. Jeff contacted us after we had inquired and suggested that we meet at the local Taco Bell for our first meeting (he said his car was being worked on/he was hungry/ that was the only time we could meet because DH and I were going out of town the next day)
  
  Anyways, we had told him was Bethany would be charging because he asked and wanted to know our price range. When he found out, he said that they 'must be starving' because of the low price for the amount of hours and continued to trash them (I'm VERY much NOT into the trash talking in order to better up yourself. . . not cool in my book).  He also constantly talked to DH and didnt acknowledge me hardly at all. Jokes were also made on my behalf which really hurt my feelings.
  
  Once he finally got around to qouting a price, we said we'd have to talk it over and discuss it. He then offered a lower price and made it seem like he was doing us this hugggge deal and talked about how if we didn't book him that night, he'd get booked at the wedding show he was going to that weekend for thousands more. So in all, we felt as if he was calling us a 'charity case' or something along those lines.

  On the flip side, he has also recieved good reviews, so maybe DH and I just caught him on a bad night or he wasn't having a good week, but overall DH and I left the meeting with the feeling that he was a pompous A$$.
  
  Again. . . we did NOT work with him because of this, but I have heard GREAT things about him which is why we met with him.  I've also heard that he works with G105 (not sure if thats still accurate or not) and does other large promotional shows like that. He knows what he's doing, I think we just met on a bad day.

  I can't attest to his DJing, but I know that he is very nice and does everything possible to make sure everything is great. Our lighting was phenomenal, and we went back and forth many times, trying to find just the right colors and lights to use.  We're so happy that we used him.  Jeff is more casual than some vendors and seems to be more relaxed, but he does amazing work.  Maybe you can ask Jeff for some recs, I know they have them available most of the time.

  Im sorry he was such a jerk to you guys Beka..totally not cool. I doubt i'll use him as my dj but I still might use him for lighting. I might meet with ATRG for my dj since I still don't have one of those.

  I used him for my wedding and he was great!  Jeff has a strange sense of humor that some can take as him being an A$$-  at first I felt he was a little weird, but my DH liked him, so we went with him.  He was also highly recommended by my venue. 
  
  He was on time, played everything just as I wanted, and the evening went smoothly.  I think he offers discounts if you use him for both lighting and djing.  I would book him again in a second.
