Hi everyone,

I'm doing my pin-up/boudoir session this coming Sunday!! Has anyone else done one? Tips on relaxing besides drinking a whole bottle of wine

? I can't believe I signed up for this!! hahaha

I've done 2! One pinup with airplanes, and one actual boudoir session.

My advice would be:

1. Start out with your least revealing outfits. You'll start relaxing soon enough on your own, but that will help you ease into it.

2. Think about what your FI will say when he sees them!

I did a pinup session for the first time 2 weeks ago! I was really nervous too, and mine was in the morning, so I wasn't about to drink wine at 10 am

Have you met your photographer already? I know I felt much more comfortable after meeting mine, she was super-sweet and fun to work with.

I did freak out initially because the photographer had me wear my most revealing outfit (lingerie!).   If you do have a choice, maybe going with the least revealing first would help you ease into it.

I was actually really nervous after my session, worrying that my photos would look horrible. I just got my proofs last night, and they look great!   I know I felt a little awkward when I was posing, but it didn't really show through in most of the pictures. I think any good pinup/boudoir photographer will help you feel relaxed, or at least look the part

yes done quite a few pin up & semi nude shoots. they are so much fun!!! definitely doing boudoir ones when the time comes!

definitely relax! the more sure of yourself you feel often the better the pic! even if you don't feel it at first, fake it till you get into it! you can tell if someone's doubting or feels awkward. no idea what you look like but just go for it!! because in general remember a confident person, who may be less attractive, can have sexier pics than a super self conscious person who might be better looking. if you're nervous start with the least revealing because you'll loosen up even more as time goes on. i see no reason not to get some wine if you need a bit of courage lol who cares what time? it just makes it more fun too! when we do shoots there's often a bunch of us & we'll get a hotel suite & do them there & have brunch & champagne & just make a fun little day of it.

you can also prepare a little by trying on your outfits & posing in the mirror. find the angles & poses that you like & that work best for you and get the look you want to achieve. & look through other's pics online to get ideas of settings & shots you want done. gl!

Oh that sounds like so much fun! I am dying to do one! I've had pictures taken before, but not a REAL pin-up boudoir session! I want to do one so bad, but I don't know if I have the guts...but I want to so bad! I hope you have tons of fun!

This is totally lame, but I just pretended I was 5'10", 110 lbs, and super hot. I forgot about what I looked like and imagined how my imaginary hot self would pose. I also watch America's Next Top Model religiously, so I made sure I used all of my accumulated knowledge!
