outdoor wedding in july... thoughts plz

would it be stupid to have the ceremony start at 10 am? or would it be better to have it in the evening? im thinking because of the heat.
we would like to be able to have it in the AM so we can leave for our honeymoon, but i dont know if its a good idea.
help!

You can have the wedding start whenever you like. 10am sounds fine to me. Just make sure you can get everything set up ahead of time or the place will set it up for you because it just doesnt allow you alot of time to get things together the day of.

No reason you couldn't have an early morning ceremony followed by a brunch reception (probably cheaper then dinner reception) and then leave in the afternoon for honeymoon.

i was just thinking that the sun/heat might be overwhelming in the middle of the day, outside in the middle of july. that was my only concern

Ten o'clock with a brunch reception sounds great and you will have the rest of the day to relax with your new hubby.

It depends on the feeling you want for your wedding. Morning weddings tend to be more casual, with less partying/dancing. So, if you want the big party, dancing, drinking, etc., you might want to go for the evening ceremony.
