Hey Guys,
I'm new to the knot and just got engaged. I haven't started booking anything like that because we are having a long engagement (until I am done with Grad School) but I have started looking for reception sites because I know that will be the toughest part. My fiance and I both have large families. We have a pretty good sized budget, but don't want to overdue it. I love the venue Windows on Minnesota! It looks beautiful! The only down side is there is no price or menu or anything on the website. Is anyone here getting married soon or recently married and had their reception at Windows and can tell me a little bit about it? I would really appreciate it!

    One of my friends had her reception here last fall.   I'm pretty sure that it was an all inclusive kind of thing - apps, salad, 3 menu options and dessert.  I'm thinking it was around $40-50/pp.  Not sure whether or not that included alcohol though..

    Whoops... just read your previous post that it's the place at the Marquette.... I was thinking of the place in the DT St. Paul Crown Plaza, which is Windows on the River, I guess  Embarassed

    I had my reception there almost a year ago in the Galaxy room. It was fantastic! I can see if I still have the menu/pricing to give you an idea...we booked it long before our wedding also because we had a long engagement too, so the pricing may be slightly different now.
