Nails: I got SHELLAC'D!

So a good friend started doing nails and started using the best invention for nails ever: Shellac

You guys have probably already heard about it but it's a gel nail polish that lasts 2-3 weeks at the most...most likely what I'll use for the Wedding moon!

I think I have heard of this. It's just a nail polish right but it has shellac in it?

Agreed. It's awesome! I'm due again tomorrow and am thinking tutti frutti or hot pop pink. Gotcha and the french are my favorites, but it's time for something new. I'm not chipped at all this time, but it's starting to grow out at the bottom.

Kelly- it's nail polish for your real nails, but it's a gel formula that's set with a light box in 60 seconds. It's pretty much chip-proof and lasts 14-21 days. It looks really natural and I get compliments all the time. http://www.cnd.com/Products/Color/shellac-colors.aspx

Girl, I'm loving it! Ms Teach and I get it done all the time. Mine hit the 2 week mark today and I have ONE chip on the side of my thumb nail that no one can see! I love it and I feel so great wearing it! Compliments all the time! And I love having nails to scratch my sister back. Revenge! She always has had ridic long nails and I could never get some long ones. So I like to point out that I'm at her status now

What color name did you get? I'm going to get french next time because I have an event next weekend, but afterwards, I'm going to do a pink!

I LOVE getting that done - lasts me 3-4 weeks and even then it is barely chipped! Will definitely get this before leaving for wedding!

I think my nail girl, Jeni, said the color's called Tropics? I did my toesies in a matching CND color. Their products in general ROCK!

I just like it because I am typing at work all day and any time I get a regular manicure it might last 2 days today...boo

YAY! I started a thread about this about 2 weeks ago too because I was debating gettin it done! I decided to do it and I love it. I have had them for 11 days so far and no chips at all!!! LOVE IT! I will definetly be doing this from now on!

Eeek, I so can't wait to get this done in a french manicure on my fingers and toes. My last manicure the white was chipped off the Next morning, i was so bummed.

Not yet, my nails are actually thicker because they usually split into layers and peel. I've only been doing it for about 3 months though.
