Don't you love it when your right?

Okay, just to give you some basic info, my man is 21 years old, tall with blue/green eyes, brownish red hair, full lips and a great smile that can make any lady blush. He currently works at a gas station and just so happens to be the only male employee there...

Anywho, one of his co-workers (lets just say her name is Sarah) loves to talk to him, and I mean LOVES to talk to him! She will text him and comment on all of his facebook status updates. When I noticed how much Sarah was interacting with him, I pointed out to him that she might have some sort of feelings for him.

Automatically he tries proving me wrong by saying shes 38 years old with two twin teenage sons, and she couldn't possibly like him!  He even added that Sarah was engaged, and I had to point out that just because she was engaged, doesn't mean she plays by the rules of loyalty.

A couple of weeks go by and he keeps complaining about how she always tries to get him to go to a bar with her. But he doesn't want to and is annoyed with her. Then all of the sudden he tells me a lovely story about how she admitted that she was subscribed to him Via Facebook, this means whenever he updates his status, she set it up so it would go directly to her phone by text message, making her one of the first people to read it. Creepy Cougar... He logged onto his Facebook account, deleted her as a friend and blocked her from seeing his profile.

I talked to him about it and I could see it in his face he wasn't about to admit to defeat! I love my stubborn FI!

  • What the what?

  • Ok. Why do you love being right that some female coworker is basically stalking your future husband?  I mean, I would hope to be in the wrong end on that.  Not that I don't get the pleasure in winning arguements when I prove I'm right...but still.
  • And I hate to be the grammar nazi, but if you're going to gloat about being right, it's "you're" not "your".

  • Just because she subcribed to his facebook feed doesn't mean she has a crush on him.  And even she did have a crush on him didn't mean that she would ever do anything about it.   Honestly, I don't see what you even think that you're right about...

  • Good for you...?

I don't understand why you WANT to be right.

  • Wow that's great!  So glad your fiance hasn't fallen into the arms of the fierce cougar.  What a guy!
  • How old are you that you would gloat about this?

  • Okay, so I just looked back at your previous posts, and wow. It's making sense now.

  • "Your" adorable.

I don't get the subscribing thing. Does that mean his statuses show up on her news feed? Because all my friends' statuses do that.

Either way, I wouldn't want to be right about this, and really, I don't think there was anything going on to begin with. People can have crushes without acting on them or doing anything about them. Do they still work together? Did him unfriending her really stop her crushing on him anyway?

You sound a little immature in this post, TBH.

  • It's You're.

Outside of your issues with the language, you both sound way too immature to be getting married.

He doesn't sound like any prize either (<a href="http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/wedding-boards_chit-chat_i-dont-know-if-this-question-actually-has-an-answer" target="_blank">clicky</a>). He thinks it's funny to pick on little kids even after they beg him to stop and she thinks she can change him. Yeah, I'm sure he won't be emotionally abusive to their future kids. :eyeroll:

I love how OP hasn't come back. . OP, this isn't really something I'd brag or gloat about (referring to the FB deal).

If there's one thing that makes any and all credibility of a :"mature-totally-ready-for-marriage relationship" fly out the window for me, it's a woman using the phrase "My Man".

Unless you're doing Sheryl Crow karaoke, there is absolutely no excuse for that Maury Povich  sh!t.

  • Facebook is a jerk. It asked me who my "close friends" are, and now I'm subscribed to all their pages. Every time one of my idiotic best friends posts something on FB, I get to know about it... immediately. Too lazy to figure out how to undo this nonsense.

Pretty sure something like this happened with the "cougar," and your fiance/you are c-c-crazy.

That or "my guy." Those are two of my irrational irritations.
  • As a 30-something year old woman, I take mild offense to your cougar comment.
