RIveria ballroom venue Lake Geneva

Anyone have their wedding at the Riveria in Lake Geneva. I am on a budget and just beginning planning. Would love suggestions and recommendations for vendors.
Thanks,
Sue

Hi me again, as  you know I am not having it there, but I would suggest going there to see it first. We looked at it and it was not what we were looking for or expected for hosting a wedding. I know that a lot of places give discounts for having your wedding on a Friday or Sunday and are willing to work with your budget. So if you are not set on a Saturday wedding I would suggest pricing out those days also.

<div>Grand Geneva gives like a 15% discount for using their place on a Friday as long as it's not a holiday.  When I looked the food was a little pricy, but I think with the discount for a Friday it made it more reasonable for such beautiful location.  I'm getting married in Madison, but I'm from Burlington so we looked into that are before deciding on Madison.</div>

Try the Horticultural Hall which is like two blocks away. You can still walk to the lake for pictures and its a cheaper location. Especially if its considered off season its a HUGE discount. The benefit is you can have anyone cater at this place the are not stuck on one vendor. They even said we could cater ourselves if we wanted. We eventually chose somewhere else because of the church location we chose.

    GOOD LUCK.

The Riviera is a beautiful venue.  However, there is absolutely no parking, and you have to bring in absolutely EVERYTHING yourself:  food, tables, chairs, beverages, etc.  If you want a Saturday wedding, it is generally booked out on Saturdays a year and a half in advance.  Also, if you have any handicapped persons attending, it is not handicapped accessible.  Hope this helps!
