So even though common sense and all knottie knowledge tells us to use Reina for alterations I decided to have the ladies at Davids Bridals take care of my hems and straps. I went in to pick her up and shes ruined. She's all jacked up!!!!! the entire hem was puckered and uneven (all 50 yards of it) and it would take me a million words to tell you what they should have done and what they did to the straps. They are "fixing" it (this is the second time for the straps~ they were worst than the first time!) The dress is still a beautiful dress and I like how I look in it, but its a simple dress with one beautiful detail~ the straps.... I'm fairly sure it will take a miracle for it to look anywhere near as nice as it should before my day. To make the evening worse - I had to purchase my delinquent BMs dress~ of which there was only one in existence in her size - its in another state and has a deoderant stain. So not only did I have to buy her dress - I had to pay extra to ship it and will have to have it cleaned.
