We mailed our invites today! Yay! But the post office guy wasn't very happy with us. We wanted them hand cancelled and the guy was like, "This doesn't show up on your black envelopes very well."

Whatever, guy. Stamp it.

On a side note, I'm having a case of the Mondays on a Wednesday. So ready for this week to be over.

    Congrats on your HUGE check!  And way to go for not letting that mean ol' post guy get to you.  It must feel so fantastic to get this done before Christmas, so you can fully enjoy the holidays!  I'm sending ***vibes*** that your RSVPs start rolling in ASAP!

    Woot! So exciting.  Congrats!!! Hey, did you end up using the box invites that are in your bio?  I'm planning to use the same one.  Did they require extra postage?

    Yes, I actually did. I had a little trouble getting the invite cards to print straight and ended up just going to like, Kinkos.

    Nope, no extra postage. I did add some double-sided tapeto the back flap to make it stick a little better. i just didn't trust those little stickers :o)

    Great!  I'm very happy to hear the postage won't break my budget.  Thanks for the tips.  Yeah those stickers don't do much, would be good to reinforce it with tape.  :-)

    I got the same invites! Great tip on the tape :)  Did you have the kinkos people print them for you?  I have to admit, I'm a little nervous about printing them on our home printer.

    Yes, Kinkos printed, but it came out a bit lighter than I wanted. Plus, the paper is dimpled so there were a few that turned out a little blah. Just buy some extras so that you can have a few test sheets!
